Project Overview
AMK EV 3W is a next-generation electric three-wheeler concept developed for the mobility needs of India, Africa, and other South Asian markets. Designed with a strong emphasis on affordability, durability, safety, and passenger comfort, the vehicle responds to the growing demand for efficient last-mile transportation while embracing the future of sustainable mobility. Powered by a 3 kW AC electric motor and a 15 kWh NMC lithium-ion battery pack, the vehicle offers an optimal balance between performance, range, and operating efficiency.
The Brief
The design adopts a contemporary and aerodynamic form that departs from the conventional appearance of three-wheelers while maintaining the practicality essential for commercial transportation. The exterior features clean sculpted surfaces, a compact footprint, high ground clearance, and improved visibility, creating a modern identity suitable for both urban and semi-urban environments. The interior has been carefully designed to provide an ergonomic driver environment and a spacious, comfortable passenger cabin, ensuring a refined travel experience without compromising operational efficiency.
AMK EV 3W reflects AMK+Partners' belief that mobility design should seamlessly integrate engineering, functionality, and human-centric thinking. Rather than simply styling a vehicle, the objective was to develop a practical electric mobility solution tailored to the climatic conditions, road infrastructure, and operational demands of emerging markets. Every design decision—from passenger accessibility and driver ergonomics to battery packaging and vehicle proportions—was guided by the principles of efficiency, safety, ease of maintenance, and long-term sustainability.
The vehicle employs lightweight yet robust body construction, optimized structural components, and durable materials suitable for intensive commercial operation. LED lighting, aerodynamic body panels, weather-resistant finishes, and a contemporary dashboard enhance both functionality and aesthetics. The interior incorporates ergonomic seating, intuitive controls, efficient storage solutions, and thoughtfully integrated components to improve driver comfort during extended operating hours. Every detail has been developed to create a vehicle that is modern, reliable, cost-effective, and ready for the evolving electric mobility landscape.
