Project Overview
Located in the vibrant neighbourhood near Mumbai International Airport, Sukh Sagar is a residential redevelopment project undertaken under DCPR 2034 – Regulation 33(7)(B). Conceived to meet the evolving needs of middle-income families, the development offers thoughtfully planned 2 BHK residences that combine efficient space planning with contemporary architectural design. The project transforms an ageing property into a modern residential community while enhancing the quality of urban living for its residents.
The Brief
The design focuses on creating practical homes that maximise natural light, cross ventilation, and functional living spaces within a compact footprint. Every apartment has been carefully planned to ensure efficient circulation, well-proportioned rooms, and comfortable day-to-day living. Contemporary architectural forms, balanced proportions, and carefully detailed common areas contribute to a clean and modern identity that complements the surrounding urban fabric.
Redevelopment presents an opportunity to improve not only buildings but also the everyday lives of the people who live within them. AMK+Partners approached Sukh Sagar with the objective of creating a development that balances regulatory requirements with thoughtful design, ensuring that functionality, comfort, and long-term value remain central to every planning decision.
